Similar to our machine service contract we can undertake a detailed and thorough inspection of your aluminium towers.
Q. Why do I need an inspection contract?
A. This inspection not only ensures you are kept up-to-date with the latest regulations but also ensures your equipment is kept in a safe operational manner.
Q. How does our inspection contract help with the latest regulations?
A. PUWER Regulations 1998 states you should ensure that work equipment is:
(1) suitable for use, and for the purpose and conditions in which it is used;
(2) maintained in a safe condition so that people’s health & safety is not at risk;
(3) inspected to ensure that it is, and continues to be, safe for use.
Your inspection contract ensures you receive an inspection on an annual basis to ensure full compliance with the above.
Construction (Health, Safety & Welfare) Regulations 1996 – Regulation 5 states you have a general duty to ensure a safe place of work and safe means of access to and from that place of work.
Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 – Regulation 2 (2A) states that you must provide and maintain safe plant and equipment and safe systems of work.
Your inspection contract helps to ensure you compliance with both of the above.
Q. What does our inspection contract cover?
A. An annual inspection contract that takes care of all labour costs. Parts and additional labour are charged separately.
It is recommended that an inspection contract is taken out as part of your ongoing maintenance plan. Each component should be checked prior to its use and discarded if considered not fit for purpose. Do not use any damaged or incomplete equipment.
Should your equipment receive excessive damage between annual inspections we recommend that a thorough inspection is carried out prior to use.
